Company History

Red Cedar Steel Erectors, Inc. is one of Wisconsin’s leading steel erection companies. Red Cedar Steel Erectors, Inc. was started in 1977 by Larry and Carol Hayes in Menomonie, Wisconsin. The company experienced steady growth and in 1996 opened another office in Mequon, Wisconsin. Currently, Pete Hayes, the second generation, is leading the company.

The company erects structural steel, joist, deck and miscellaneous steel. We also provide shear stud installation. The areas serviced are all of Wisconsin, eastern Minnesota, Iowa and Michigan’s upper peninsula.
